Marin Alsop and the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra received a warm reception from Japanese audiences on their recent eleven-city tour of the country, with stops in Yokohama, Tokyo, Takamatsu, Aichi, Fukuoka, Niigata, Nagano, Osaka, Tokorozawa, Sapporo, and Hiroshima. The program included Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, Jessie Montgomery’s Strum, and Mozart’s “Coronation” Concerto, featuring Hayato Sumino.
